Y claro, me encantó.
It seems incredible to me that a few years ago I was a one-blush-girl. I bought a blush (usually Clinique or Mac) and stayed loyal to it until I emptied it up.
Well, that definitely is a part of my past, because blushes are my fave cosmetics right now. So after reading this entry on The Beauty Codes Blog, I needed to try this YSL blush, and of course, I loved it. The shade I chose was
02 Powdery Rose.
As its name suggests, it is a very discreet powdery pink shade, perfect for most complexions, and it provides a very natural flush to my cheeks. The packaging is so beautiful, elegant, very classy, very YSL. Contains 5.5 grams and it's about 30 €.
Although it's a cream blush , its texture reminds me more of a mousse, creamy without being greasy or waxy, and once applied, despite containing silicones, it is easy to blend and does not set on my pores, very important for a combination skin girl like me. I particularly like its scent, a very very light perfume of roses.
About its application, I usually dab it with my fingers, and finish blending it with a synthetic brush such as RT Stippling Brush or MAC 188. The final result is a very healthy color on my cheeks with a powdery matte finish and really long wearing (no touch ups for about 8 hours ), and exceptional pigmentation, a little bit goes a long way.
