What an Absolutely Fitting End to the Mets Season

With a loss
In extra innings
And Oliver Perez gets credited with the L
I couldn't have written it any better...

I wanna do a more formal season review in a bit, but for now I'll do a micro version. Really only 2 good things came from this season for the Mets:
1- David Wright got back on track
2- We got a glimpse of what the very near future may hold with players such as Niese, Thole, Tejada and Davis.

2011 anyone?
