September Non Beauty Favourites

Hey guys,

I just got back from my trip to London and I'm straight onto writing a blog post which is slightly overdue because of the said trip. It was amazing btw, I spent an afternoon shopping, a day doing touristy things and a day in the Making of Harry Potter World. Anyway, without any further ado let me clue you in on some of the things I've been loving in the past month.

1. My trip to Poland - I went to my hometown of Bialystok and to a house by a Lake and the Bialowieza Forest. I had an absolute blast spending time with some friends, making new ones, seeing my family, drinking, eating, swimming, shopping... you get the idea.

2. My friends' visit - Two of my best friends came to visit me after not seeing one of them for nearly 8 years and the other for 3. We went to Blackpool, Southport, explored my town, had a few cheeky suarez's and a funny night out.

3. Duplex (2003) -  A hilarious comedy with Ben Stiller and Drew Barrymore. It's about a young married couple who buy a house which is a duplex (a two family home) and in the upper level of the house lives an elderly lady who they cannot force to move out and is out to cause hell. If you need a pick me up on a rainy September day then give this a try.

4. The Inbetweeners 2 (2014)  - Another comedy. Like the TV show this had a very specific humour but I definitively recommend fans of the show to watch this as they will not be disappointed.

5. The Strangers (2008) - A home invasion horror. I found that it kicked my ass with how tense it was. It's about a couple who are on a romantic getaway in a cabin when they are harassed and attacked by 3 strangers.Although the plot sounds cliche there was something truly surprising, disturbing and scary in this film and it's worth a watch. Not on your own though and definitively not at night ;)

6. Looking for Alaska by John Green - I was a fan of the first part of this book. Without spoiling anything it crashed my soul and I didn't even see it coming. So you've been warned in case you want to check out this marvellous book.
