Actor Zach Gilford’s recollection of first saying hello to Taylor Swift on the set of her new ‘Ours’ video sounds like a lot of folks’ experiences with meeting the singer: “I just met Taylor this morning for the first time, and she was just super nice. Came in, gave me a hug.”
“It’s kind of crazy,” Gilford — maybe just a little bit starstruck — admits in the video clip below, No. 11 out of 13 in a behind-the-scenes series documenting the making of ‘Ours.’ He goes on to ramble about her being a megastar yet “totally a normal person” all at once.
His time spent on the set with Swift as her onscreen boyfriend clearly impressed him, and director Declan Whitebloom can attest to the entertainer’s work ethic and professionalism.
“With Taylor, she knows what she’s doing. She’s got great taste, great sense of style and ability,” he remarks, later adding, “She’s really incredibly a decent human being and a real great collaborator, polite and lovely, which is not the way a lot of other artists are.”
