Sam Concepcion is a Filipino singer, dancer, actor, host and model. He emerged as the winner for the Big Division of Little Big Star's Season 1 early 2006, leaving Charice on the third spot. He started by being a part of STAGES and Trumpets Playshop (theatre) that helped him make a name in the entertainment industry.
After months of winning in the Grand Finals of Little Big Star, Sam was chosen to be the Department of Education's (Youngest) Spokesperson and circle almost all public schools in the country to promote his projects as a spokesperson. Weeks before that, he had his first solo self titled album composed of various remakes, namely: Even If, Happy, I'll Find Your Heart, Stay The Same, and Da Doo Ron Ron.
He played as Troy Bolton in a remake of Disney's High School Musical by STAGES. He was blessed enough to be chosen to be a part of DreamWorks' Official Soundtrack of Kung Fu Panda where he sang the Official Theme Song which was played on the credits. By February 19th, Sam will open for Taylor Swift's Speak Now Tour, and is definitely ready to take that shot!
