Hello there! I took two days off to celebrate my birthday and it was a lovely and relaxing day. Today, I'm showing you three polishes from Alter Ego! She has recently reformulated her nail polishes, and I have one comparison for you. Let's check it out.

Alter Ego Taupiarist, Family Friends Forever, and Winter Sunset Watcher Swatches and Review

Taupiarist: 2 coats. This is a beige gold polish with a light holographic shimmer. It changes depending on the lighting. Sometimes the polish appears more taupe and sometimes the rich gold shines through. It's a great neutral and the hint of holo really elevates it! I used this color with the nail stickers HERE.

Alter Ego Taupiarist

Family Friend Forever: 3-4 coats. This is a beautiful cobalt blue shimmer. Depending on the length on your nails, you could get away with less coats. It was opaque at 3 coats but VNL showed in photos.

Winter Sunset Watcher: 3-4 coats. I actually have the old version of this polish. I really love this polish before and I love it more now. It's a complex coral-orange polish with hints of blue shimmer. It's really beautiful and exactly what I think of when I see a sunset!

Here's a comparison with the old version on my ring finger. The old formula would dry matte and this one dries shiny. The new version is also less thick.
